Megan is new to the Austin area, having recently moved here with her family from Portland, Oregon. She is mother to three feisty daughters, including a set of identical twins.
She holds degrees in Sociology and Fine Arts from the University of Oregon as well as her Masters in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College. Prior to working in the ABA field she was a classroom teacher in 2nd & 3rd grades, a K-3 assessment writer and owned a children’s consignment shop in Portland.
Her compassion and interest in Autism and developmental disabilities goes back a lifetime. Her mother is a retired special education teacher who specialized in functional living skills for secondary students. Her older brother has developmental disabilities as well as neurological impairments and ASD.
In her free time she enjoys hiking, yoga, fiber arts and baking extremely indulgent desserts with her daughters.
