Laura is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Building BLOCS who provides speech therapy services for individual and group clients.
Laura received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2010 and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas in 2014. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities aged 3-8 in PPCD classrooms and in the schools. Laura’s areas of interest include early intervention, autism-spectrum disorders, stuttering, augmentative communication, and speech sound disorders. She has been working at Building BLOCS since June of 2017. Laura has clinical experience in assessing and treating language, fluency, articulation, and voice disorders.
In her free time, Laura enjoys reading, working on her house, and playing with her two dogs.
