Emma Pettingill, M.Ed., BCBA

Emma is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). As a Program Supervisor at Building Blocs, Emma oversees the

development and implementation of behavior intervention programs that promote positive outcomes for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Since becoming a BCBA in 2016, Emma has assessed behaviors, developed individualized programs, and collaborated with families and other professionals to ensure successful, sustainable

progress.

Graduating in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Arkansas, Emma furthered her education by earning a master’s degree in Special Education with a focus on Autism and Developmental Disabilities from the University of Texas in 2014. During her graduate studies, she gained valuable hands-on experience as a behavioral therapist across home, clinic, and school settings, which laid the foundation for her career as a BCBA.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, exploring neighborhood parks, walking her dogs, practicing yoga, reading, listening to live music, and discovering new restaurants.
