Sam is a behavior therapist with a RBT certification here at Building Blocs. Prior to moving to Austin, TX she worked as an RBT in home, school, and community settings in Southern CA. She received her bachelors degree in Child and Adolescent Development with an emphasis on family and community settings and a minor in psychology from California State University at Fullerton.
Currently, Sam is studying at University of Texas, Austin to receive her Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is also working toward her BCBA certification. Sam’s areas of interest include autism-spectrum disorders, challenging behaviors, and functional communication training.
In her free time, Sam enjoys salsa dancing, cooking, traveling, and exploring Austin.
