She received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish from Louisiana State University in 2014. After graduation, she moved to Austin, Texas to work as a tutor for a local non-profit that provides bilingual reading interventions to elementary students in grades K-2. She then earned her teaching credentials and worked as a Bilingual Special Education Resource teacher at an elementary school. She has been part of the Building BLOCS family since September 2018.
She hopes to begin working on coursework which will allow her to attend graduate school in Speech Language Pathology. Her interests include autism-spectrum disorders, social skills development, and personal independence.
In her free time she loves cooking cajun food, singing karaoke, painting, and trying new restaurants.
