Does my child need a diagnosis of autism to receive ABA therapy?

ABA therapy is not only a therapy for children with autism. ABA therapy focuses on changing behaviors and is beneficial for many socially significant behaviors including addictions, relationships, performance management, and safety. In order to have insurance cover the cost of ABA therapy, a diagnosis of autism is required.
